As you are probably aware, one of the largest costs within the retail sector is down to theft and fraud. Over 80% of thefts are casual, so merely by deterring opportunists you will dramatically lower your losses.

Laser Fire & Security can provide an EAS tagging system that can blend in and work with any kind of retail environment, from the visible deterrent of hard plastic tags for clothing and other high value items to inconspicuous adhesive labels, available with or without dummy barcodes for unobtrusive application.

Basic Operation

A Single or a Set of pedestals are fitted by the exit doors. A deactivator to disable the label, or a detacher to remove the tags would be fitted on the checkout.
If an item passes between the pedestals. Without it being removed or deactivated a strobe will activate and an alarm will sound. (an optional door lock interface is available to hold the door closed during the alarm ).
